P90X 1

The P90X vs. The Turbo Jam

The Turbo jam is the poor mans P90X system what I mean by this is that even though the turbo jam is created on the same principles as the P90X you may not get the same amazing results with this program The Turbo Jam is created by Chalene Johnson, When you buy the product, you get a mixture of routines that include kick boxing (which is a burns calories fast), body sculpting routines and some amazing music that can be easily transferred to your ipod. If the two programs were pitched together; the turbo jam and the P90X, the later would definitely have a lot more followers than the claimed one million people who are said to be using the Turbo Jam System.

While the providers of Turbo jam have assured their customers that it will keep evolving over the years, the P90X already features different versions of the program that can be used to achieve specific fitness goals and to suit your physical fitness level when starting the course. The P90X uses a combination of stretching, yoga, core training, strength training and cardio routines to yield very quick results. When you are on the Turbo jam program you burn about 500 calories per hour but with the P90X you can o right up top 700 to 850 calories while some people have also reached 1000. The wonderful thing about this program is that you would never be able to get such phenomenal results with any other physical activity like jogging, swimming etc. All of them combined together would not be able to deliver the results that the P90X system can.

The turbo jam routine is based on the learn and burn principle, the system has the 11 steps routine which helps you to burn the excess fat, the turbo sculpt which helps you to tone and shape yourself and a 20 minute session of the complete body workout is also recommended. This session is close to the 10 minute workout routines in Tony Horton’s P90X.

The P90X system uses the muscle confusion principle, the program entail so many different routines that you never really repeating the same movements. What this does is that your body does not get used to these movements and you will never reach the plateau that you usually experience when using other programs. The variety is not only fun and entertaining but also very effective.

The P90X delivers guaranteed results in 90 days flat, the routines are aimed at giving you a leaner and better sculpted body and the fact that there is a time frame to achieve the results makes this program very real and keeps you motivated because you know that you will not have to keep up with the routine forever.

One of the most striking features of the P90X program is the availability of daily cardio routines, what happens with most other fitness programs is that even if you do achieve modest results, as soon as you get ff the program , the pounds almost rush back in and there is simply no way to prevent it. So essentially you get into a routine of losing weight gaining it back and then trying to lose it again. As opposed to this , when you are working with the P90X system you get a cardio routine plan that is supposed to be followed after the 90 days, these routines will help you to keep the weight off and maintain your newfound physique.

I have compared a lot of fitness programs in the market but I have yet to see another program which is half as effective as the P90X . Another advantage of working with this program is that it is an entire system. What I mean is that you don’t just get a few exercise videos. We all know that you can’t get amazing results with exercise alone. You also get several other tools like a diet plan, a fitness calendar and information about the supplements and equipment needed with this program.
